Introducing PhD candidate Sare van Puijenbroek
Sare van Puijenbroek started her PhD in September 2026 in the Department of Clinical and Experimental Psychology at the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, University of Groningen. Her research focuses on the effectiveness of network-informed treatment compared to treatment as usual in clients with complex psychopathology, using single-case experimental designs (SCEDs).

Sare graduated with a master's degree in Psychology from the University of Leuven. During her PhD project, she will be supervised by Peter de Jong, her promotor, and Mirjam Frey, her co-promotor, at the University of Groningen. Reinout Wiers and Lourens Waldorp from the University of Amsterdam are also involved as promotors in the project. Sare is very happy to be joining the consortium and looks forward to exchanging ideas and collaborating along the way.
