Introducing fellow Lynn Mobach

Lynn Mobach obtained her Joint PhD at the departments of Clinical Psychology at both Radboud University and Macquarie University (Sydney) in 2021. After this, she started a postdoc at Utrecht University where she studied affective recovery after daily social situations related to social anxiety in which she used longitudinal intensive designs.
Currently, Lynn works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Developmental Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Her research is focused on the development of anxiety and depression in youth and cognitive factors related to this as well as the treatment of these disorders. Her interest lies specifically in the mechanisms underlying treatment outcomes as well as the dynamic interaction between vulnerability and context factors in the development of psychopathology in which she takes an idiographic approach. Lynn also works as a psychologist and senior researcher at Pro Persona Overwaal, a specialist health care centre for the treatment of anxiety, OCD, and PTSD.
Lynn is involved in the project 'Simulation tool to compare outcomes of treatments in psychopathology' where she works with Reinout Wiers, Lourens Waldorp, and others.
