PhD defence: Gita Nadinda

Gita Nadinda, PhD candidate at Leiden University and member of the Mind-Body Interface team, will be defending her doctoral thesis on September 10th

Gita started as a PhD candidate at the Institute of Psychology at Leiden University in September 2020. Her research focused on examining the interaction between expectancy and avoidance behaviour in individuals with and without somatic symptoms through both experimental and field studies.

On Wednesday, September 10th she will be defending her thesis entitled "Nexus, Uncovered: On the Relations Between Expectancy, Avoidance, and Somatic Sensations". Promotors: Andrea Evers, Johan Vlaeyen, and Madelon Peters; co-promotor: Antoinette van Laarhoven.
